Rank Your Shopify Store and Make money every Day

What will you need in the process?

Website (WordPress)
Shopify Store
Money to invest
SEO knowledge

The Method

This method will be based on SEO + Shopify, it is a dropshipping business model, but we will change the marketing approach used by the majority of drop shippers.

Most of dropshippers nowadays are struggling with fb ads, either because they’re getting a high CPC or maybe they are not getting any conversions. Moreover, fb ads needs a big investment to test products and you must have a good experience in the advertising field or there is a big that you will lose all your money without making any profit.

Good news! There is a good alternative, simply by ranking your store + another site.

How is that?

The first step: Ranking your store

You will optimise the shopify store to rank in Google instead of driving traffic to it. You can go for a specific niche store or a general store, but a niche store is always better.

You will add as much products as you can to the store, I suggest 50 products. Every product should have an optimized description in two sides (SEO + Copywriting).

One mistake that almost any new dropshipper do is adding a weak description or a bad one (some of them just copy/paste the description from Aliexpress.).

You should write a big description (at least 500 word for each product). You should take care of ON page SEO and also the copywriting side (to get higher conversion rate).

Each product should target one main keyword (The use of the product, ex: Protein shaker) + 2 long tail keywords.

If you don’t know to do a keyword research, here you go:

https://bit.ly/36MihIK
  • The Off page SEO: You can hire someone to do it for you, or you can build links by yourself. You can also check the marketplace.

After doing the basic SEO process to your store, you need a SERP tracker to see which pages in your site are ranking. Let’s say your site has 50 products on it, only 10 them started ranking, and 5 of them are getting sales.

This product should be re-optimized, you will edit the description to a better one (1,000 word).

  • Target more keywords
  • Add more images
  • You can create a video for them
  • Build more links
  • Drive traffic to them from your blog (check the 2nd step)

2nd step – The blog

The 1st step is a basic SEO process for your Shopify, but here the special part.

Most of you know about amazon review sites, right? Okay, what we will do is almost the same thing but we won’t promote Amazon products, and instead, we will promote our own products.

You will create a niche website for the winning products that you have in your store, write some guides in that niche and suggest some products in each article (this part doesn’t need a lot of explaining as most of you already know how to do it.).

The benefit of that method is that it’s better than promoting Amazon method. Why?
You choose your profit margin.
You get a mailing list = Making money forever instead of relying on the Amazon cookies system.

Conclusion

I tried to keep that short and simple and I hope that it will help some people. It will be useful for everyone starting a new Shopify store, and also for the big dropshippers who are relying just on fb ads as they will be able to go to the next level.

Proof: A lot of people doesn’t support the Shopify + SEO approach and think that a Shopify store can’t rank well. Simply, that’s because most people are not doing it right. I ranked my own stores and also a lot of stores for my clients and we’re getting each day a lot of orders without spending any penny on ads.

How To Find The Best Dropshipping Suppliers For Your eCommerce Store

In this article, I will talk about what a high-quality drop shipping company looks like.

When talking quality drop shipping companies, what I really mean is:

How well that company performs.

How good their products are

Do you take care of yourself as a dealer?

How good they are to the customers.

The key points you want to keep in mind as you are building out your dropshipping company is you have to understand that the suppliers that you have are going to make or break your business. The suppliers that you bring on board are going to reflect upon your brand. Your brand as an eCommerce company that does drop ship is mainly based on customer support and the service that you provide to your customers as well as the marketing that you do to sell the suppliers’ products.

You want to only work with suppliers that are good quality. You want to provide the best customer support to your customers so that you can reflect well upon your brands and your brands will reflect well upon you as a retailer and it will be a win-win situation.

THE KEY POINTS:

Suppliers that have good and fast communication.

This starts from the first moment you contact them. How quickly do they answer their phones, how professional they speak to you on their phone, and are you able to speak with somebody that is going to help you right away or does it take a while.

As you do business with them, if there is a problem in communication everything else is going to fall down.

Good communication is the foundation of a good relationship with the supplier number.

Suppliers ship out your products quickly.

With dropshipping, it is important that you have products shipping out right away. If it takes two to three weeks for them to ship and you don’t tell your customers, oftentimes, you will get chargebacks or pissed off customers. If it is a custom made, you have to make it clear on your website that it takes time to ship. You have to set a proper expectation. Make sure to get in touch with your customers through clear and direct communication either by email or phone.

Low damage rate.

Often times, if products are shipped especially big ones, can get impaled or things can be scratched along the way. You want to make sure you work with suppliers that work with shipping companies that provide really good service and have good policies for insurance. If your suppliers do shipping for you, make sure you understand what companies are using for shipping. You may look them up and make sure that they offer good service. Another option is to do the shipping yourself and use and recommend a company called Freight Club for that. You can use our referral link to sign up for their Shopify app it’s eCommerceParadise.com/freightclub.

Freight Club

Freight club is great because they provide really great rates for shipping high ticket products. They have been great to work with as well. Oftentimes, they will be a bit cheaper than what the supplier can give you like a freight cost. You will save money and you will have issues. All you have to do is get a quote from them for the shipping and then pay for it. they will give you a bill of lading and you send that to the supplier. They will be the ones who will arrange the pickup time. The drawback is since you are doing the shipping, it is not your responsibility to handle it in case of any. If there’s damage it has to be shipped back. You are the one that has to file a claim and wait to be reimbursed on that instead of your supplier. There is a little more liability risk involve but besides that, it’s a pretty good way to save money and to be in control of the process.

Suppliers take care of their dealers.

Customer service

It is important that suppliers put their dealers first and foremost because the customers are the most important thing but the suppliers don’t deal with the customers directly, dealers do. If the supplier is not willing to take care of the dealer in a situation then they are probably not going to treat the customers very well either and that is not a good supplier. In other words, they offer great pricing after that when there are issues if you find that suppliers are screwing you over as a dealer or charging you restocking fees. That just doesn’t seem fair for a dealer then you should look for other suppliers or talk to them.

Warranty issues

If the supplier does not take it back even though it does not work at all, that is not the supplier you want to work with.

Technical Support

Suppliers that provide great technical support is definitely a great supplier to work with and the supplier that does not sucks. When it comes to complex products, you are going to be dealing with customer questions, these are things you won’t know how to handle right away. Suppliers that have technicians on board on staff that can answer calls.

Suppliers that have best selling products.

You don’t want to bring in suppliers and waste all your time and money onboarding them to your website and your business if they are not even going to sell. To figure this out is to research your competitors and you look at the marketplace.

Suppliers should be good about vetting new online dealers.

You need to talk to somebody on the phone and explain to them your mission as an entrepreneur. It will be harder but worth it especially if they want to supply a preview over an email.

Suppliers that have strong branding.

A brand name, a logo and brand recognition across the industry is really powerful. They should also have brand recognition. It is going to be given and take, you have been built a strong brand and you have to reach suppliers with a strong brand. Stay consistent and not give up. It is all about persistence.

Go for high-quality suppliers and drop the ones that suck. If you are interested in getting started with high ticket drop shipping I have a couple of free offers for you.

GUIDE Dropshipping in 2021 and beyond

There has been a lot of comments and talk lately on this forum (and elsewhere) stating that dropshipping is finished and it is too difficult to enter the market. You are wrong. Read that again, YOU ARE WRONG.

I want to assist anyone that may be interested in drop-shipping moving forward and provide a mini-guide. Any comments or questions are warmly welcomed, and I would be happy to assist if you do reach out.

Dropshipping remains a viable business model. Did you read that right? Did you see how I used the words “business model”?

If you’re in this game for short term adulation, then you’re in the wrong game. There are massive returns to make if you are willing to invest time and effort. If you remain dedicated, you will see results. It really is that simple.

Dropshipping in 2020

Everyone thought 2020 was a bummer of a year, right? Not for me. Not for people in the drop-shipping business who actually know what they are doing. In 2020, I had my best year ever. I generated $10 million in revenue and profited $4 million (prior to deducting staff costs).

If you thought drop-shipping is dead, think again.

While the world was worrying about COVID, I doubled down. I exploited avenues of growth that were working for my business and hit the after burners.

It’s pretty simple, anyone can do this if they are willing to put in the time and effort.

The term “dropshipping”

Often, when people hear this term, they get a little shaky. I mean, there are certainly negative connotations associated with the word. When you hear drop-shipping, you think of shady online stores, with poor product quality, poor shipping times and a plethora of other issues.

Drop-shipping is not a dirty word.

Drop-shipping is simply a business model. Once you start thinking about yourself and your operations as a business, as opposed to a get rich quick scheme, your trajectory will change.

If you are opening a Shopify store and using the default theme, I have news for you my friend. You won’t last long in this game.

Pro tip: I don’t even use Shopify for my large brands.

Niche

Your niche is important. You need to identify an area of consumerism which is either trending OR has consistent market share. This isn’t always easy, however, with research you can definitely crack the code. RESEARCH is key.

Too many times I see people launching themselves into selling products without taking any time to perform market research.

Understanding my market and the way my customers think has been one of the key factors in the success that I have seen.

Suppliers

The topic of suppliers always seems to be a recurring topic of conversation. There are reputable suppliers on AliExpress and AliBaba. You need to invest time to understand who these suppliers are. Once you find your supplier and you build a good relationship, the sky is the limit. They will begin to want to keep you happy. After all, you will be ordering a significant amount from these vendors – it remains in their interests to assist you in any way that they can.

Branding and Social Proof

There is one point that I would like to stress. BRANDING is absolutely everything. Remember, how I said you need to think of drop-shipping as a business model? When you start on this drop-shipping journey you need to keep that at the front of your mind. In my opinion, branding is the single most important key to success. Don’t think of yourself (or your website) as a drop-shipping store. Think of yourself as a brand. Ask yourself, is this a brand that I would be happy to purchase off? Would I trust this brand with my money? You’re not looking for a get rich quick scheme. You are in this for the long haul. You are here to build and develop a brand. If you have this mindset, the windfalls will be massive in the long run.

Coupled with branding is social proof. I see a lot of drop-shippers starting off and they utilise Facebook or Instagram accounts with extremely small followings. Yes, you need to start somewhere, however, you MUST invest time (and money) into building your social channels. Social proof is very powerful when it comes to enticing potential customers to hit the checkout button. I was actually listening to a podcast today, where a self-professed “dropshipping guru” recommended that you could start drop-shipping by approaching influencers on Instagram with an account with as few followers as ten. Ten followers? I choked on my water as I was listening to the audio. I thought he may have said something ridiculous like one hundred followers, but ten was off the charts stupid.

In short, I have proven strategies around branding and social proof which has seen all three of my brands explode.

Professionalism

I believe this point ties in with the previous two paragraphs, however, I want to make this point very clear. Any person that is not brain damaged can click on an ad, view the product page and immediately determine whether your brand is worth forking out the cash for. If you are not writing captivating copy, leave now. If you are not taking the time to design your store, leave now. If you are not ensuring your site is published with perfect English, leave now. If you are displaying trust badges upon trust badges on your store, leave now.

Ask yourself one simple question.

Would Apple or Nike be happy to publish what you have just published on your website? If the answer is no, you need to start again.

Advertising Strategy

All platforms work. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, influencers. Each of these advertising methods will get you results. You need to be willing to invest and understand the mechanics of each platform.

Some niches provide a greater ROAS on Instagram. Some niches provide a greater ROAS on Facebook. There are a number of factors here, so please feel free to send me a DM and I will be able to assist and provide some advice.

I could write tips and tricks for each of these methods, but I would honestly be here for days.

Conclusion

Drop-shipping remains a viable business model and will continue to be a viable business model moving into the future. You need to be willing to invest time and effort. Above all, you need to remain dedicated. You need to be willing to invest in yourself. Gains are here to be made and there is more than enough to be shared around – I couldn’t be more confident in that statement given the way 2020 played out.

Build your brand, understand your market. You can succeed.
